Job summary

FIMIGroup in Lombardy, Italy is seeking skilled assembly technicians to join a technologically advanced, international environment. You will assemble industrial machinery, perform functional checks, and prepare equipment for shipment worldwide.

Candidates with 3–10 years in machinery, reading drawings, and willingness to travel up to 4 months a year are encouraged. The role offers a guaranteed 30–40k EUR gross yearly, a 7:00-16:00 schedule, and welfare benefits under CCNL Metalmeccanici

Qualifications

• Technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of dimensional and geometric tolerances.
• Understanding of mechanical assembly methods.

• Ability to use workshop equipment and machine tools.
• Experience with overhead cranes and lifting equipment is advantageous.
• Valid driving licence.

• Proven experience in assembling and commissioning complex industrial equipment.
• Ability to work independently and manage advanced assembly activities.

Travel

Availability to travel in Italy and abroad is required.

Business trips may amount to approximately 4 months per year, not necessarily consecutive.

Contract, Working Hours & Benefits

• National Metalworking Industry Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanici Industria).
• Salary range: €30,000 – €40,000 gross annual salary, depending on experience.
• Junior candidates may be offered an initial fixed-term contract (6 + 6 months) with the objective of long‑term employment.
• Annual welfare benefits of €250 provided under the collective labour agreement.
• Working hours: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM / 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
• Flexibility in working hours is required.
