Job summary

JD Logistics seeks a Reverse Logistics Team Lead to guide daily operations including inbound processing, inspection, repair coordination, and outbound disposition. You will develop strategies to optimize returns handling, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with customer service, warehousing, and quality control, and manage returned inventory records, KPIs, and reporting for management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 3+ years in reverse logistics or supply chain management with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the reverse logistics team (inbound, inspection, repair, outbound).

About The Team

You’ll be joining the JINGDONG Logistics team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Lead and manage a team responsible for reverse logistics operations, ensuring efficient and effective processing of returns, exchanges, and repairs for JD.com.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the reverse logistics team, including inbound processing, quality inspection, repair coordination, and outbound disposition.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize reverse logistics processes, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as return rates, processing times, and resolution rates, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring adherence to company policies and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments, including customer service, warehousing, and quality control, to streamline reverse logistics workflows.
• Manage inventory of returned products, ensuring accurate record-keeping and proper handling.
• Identify and resolve operational issues and bottlenecks, implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare reports on team performance, process efficiency, and cost analysis for management.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in reverse logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in reverse logistics or supply chain management, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
• Strong understanding of reverse logistics principles, processes, and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
