Job summary

JINGDONG Logistics is seeking a Reverse Team Leader to manage the returns, exchanges and repair processes for JD.com’s reverse logistics operations in Milan. You will oversee daily team activities, drive process improvements, and partner with service, warehousing and quality control teams to ensure timely disposition of returns.

The role requires 3+ years in reverse logistics with leadership experience, a logistics-related degree, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years in reverse logistics or supply chain management, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
• Strong understanding of reverse logistics principles and best practices.
• Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and related software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the reverse logistics team, including inbound processing, quality inspection, repair coordination, and outbound disposition.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize reverse logistics processes, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
• Monitor KPIs such as return rates, processing times, and resolution rates, and implement corrective actions.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring policy compliance.
• Collaborate with customer service, warehousing, and quality control to streamline reverse logistics workflows.
• Manage inventory of returned products, ensuring accurate records and proper handling.
• Identify and resolve operational issues and bottlenecks with continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare reports on team performance, process efficiency, and cost analysis for management.
