Job summary

NAVY EXCHANGE SERVICE COMMAND (NEXCOM) seeks a Sales Associate at the Sigonella facility in Catania, Italy. You will be the face of the brand, assist customers, and promote products and services with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include engaging customers, guiding purchases, maintaining store appearance, and handling POS transactions. Prior retail experience is preferred but not required, with a flexible schedule and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Product knowledge of merchandise and services.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with customers.
• Basic math for transactions and POS handling.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive customer service and engage customers.
• Ask questions to understand customer needs and guide purchases.
• Direct customers to merchandise and inform about promotions and events.
• Maintain a clean, organized store appearance and assist with inventory.
• Upsell and cross-sell products based on customer needs and trends.
• Operate POS system, process payments, refunds, and receipts accurately.
• Support store processes, paperwork, and reconciliations as needed.
• Be dependable and adhere to assigned work schedule.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
