Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of products and merchandise.
• Retail experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic math functions such as addition and subtraction.
• Ability to multi-task and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• CUSTOMER SERVICE - Proactively engage and connect with customers.
• Direct customers to merchandise and inform them about events, promotions and STAR card.
• Maintain positive, inclusive and respectful relationships and take accountability for actions.
• ORGANIZATION - Maintain store appearance.
• SALES - Cross-sell and know the store layout.
• Suggest latest trends and promotions based on customer needs.
• Upsell products and provide product knowledge.
• Operate POS system and handle cash, discounts, gift cards, cards.
• Complete paperwork, reports and reconciliation; manage inventory.
• Be the keeper of merchandise and participate in inventories.
• Adhere to assigned work schedule and perform other duties.
