Job summary

Arup in Milan is seeking a Consultant to deliver technical, ESG or commercial due diligence for energy transition assets, including solar, wind, and BESS.

You will work on projects for buyers or sellers, contribute to bid development, and support research and analysis while expanding knowledge across European markets.

We value 1–2 years of relevant experience and fluent English, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; a collaborative, analytical mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of professional experience in solar, wind, BESS or hybrid systems.
• Experience in other European markets beside Italy appreciated.
• Experience in undertaking technical due diligence on energy infrastructure assets.
• Fluency in written and spoken English with strong quantitative and analytical skills and good knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Work on discrete projects: technical, ESG or commercial due diligence for buyers or sellers in energy transition assets.
• Conduct wider advisory work to support clients navigating energy transition.
• Contribute to project management tasks and bid development for due diligence assignments.
• Participate in client conversations and sector knowledge development.
