Cepheid, part of Danaher, seeks a Technical Support Specialist – Systems to deliver advanced product support for molecular diagnostics instruments. You will troubleshoot complex hardware, software and connectivity issues, document root causes, and assist customers to maintain patient testing continuity.

Remote role with Europe travel as needed, reporting to the Italy/Portugal Customer Care Manager. Ideal candidates have a biology/engineering background, 2–3 years in medical device support, and

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field with experience in technical support of medical devices.
• 2–3 years in health care/biomedical or handling medical devices with diagnostic market knowledge.
• Familiarity with molecular diagnostics and laboratory workflows.
• Experience troubleshooting complex hardware/software in regulated medical or diagnostics environments.
• Proficiency with computer systems and networking (Windows OS, LIS integration, basic networking).
• CRM or complaint-handling system experience is a plus.

Mansioni

• Provide expert technical support via phone, email, and web for instrumentation systems and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Collect detailed instrument-related information, perform root cause analysis, and document findings.
• Conduct advanced data analysis and systematic troubleshooting of hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Investigate and resolve instrument functionality problems, prioritizing critical cases and supporting remote or on-site visits.
• Share expertise to support knowledge base updates and mentor colleagues.
