Cepheid is seeking a Technical Support Specialist – Systems to deliver advanced product support for molecular diagnostics instruments across Europe, including remote work from home. You will engage with customers to resolve complex instrument issues, document cases, and provide escalation-ready feedback.

The role reports to the Customer Care Manager for Italy/Portugal and involves travel up to 15% within Europe.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or life sciences or related field.
• 2–3+ years in health care/biomedical device tech support.
• Experience with molecular diagnostics workflows.
• Troubleshooting hardware/software in regulated medical devices.

Mansioni

• Provide expert technical support via phone, email, and web for instrumentation systems.
• Document instrument-related issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Conduct data analysis and systematic troubleshooting of hardware/software and connectivity.
• Prioritize critical cases to restore system uptime and support remote or on-site visits.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to knowledge-base updates.
