Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Technical Lead (DeFi) based in Italy for a fully remote leadership role. You will guide MEV services, Ethereum mempool workflows, and product delivery while mentoring engineers and a Technical Product Manager.

You will contribute hands-on engineering to scale distributed systems, improve validator profitability, and collaborate with DeFi searchers across Europe. Strong Go expertise is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience leading an engineering team.
• 5+ years designing, building, testing, and deploying scalable distributed backend systems.
• 3+ years professional blockchain engineering experience.
• Deep proficiency in Go (Golang) for backend development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Combination of leadership and hands-on engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of software engineers and a Technical Product Manager.
• Define and deliver MEV services and Ethereum mempool workflows.
• Shape product offerings to maximize validator gains and profitability.
• Collaborate with DeFi searchers to improve trading execution tools.
• Contribute hands-on code to the Blockchain Distribution Network (BDN).
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of backend systems.
• Advocate for strong engineering practices like automated testing and CI/CD.
