Job summary

Jobgether, listing on behalf of a partner company, seeks a DevOps + Go Platform Engineer based in Italy to build an internal developer platform and CI/CD tooling across on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.

You will own infrastructure improvements, develop Go services, and maintain pipelines with GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, and Ansible, collaborating with R&D, SRE, QA, and infra teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of DevOps or Platform Engineering experience at a senior level.
• Hands-on experience with on‑prem infrastructure and hardware.
• Practical experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Recent production Go development for tools or backend services.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with observability and monitoring (Grafana, OpenSearch, Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics).
• Experience with Windows environments (Windows Server, Hyper‑V, PowerShell).
• Ownership mindset and ability to drive improvements independently.
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain, and optimize scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
• Support and improve infrastructure across on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Develop and refactor internal platform tools in Go, including deployment tooling.
• Investigate environments to identify weaknesses and implement measurable improvements.
• Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible.
• Strengthen observability with Grafana, OpenSearch, Prometheus, and related tooling.
• Participate in operational support and troubleshooting within a cross‑functional team.
• Collaborate with R&D, QA, SRE, and infra teams to improve developer workflows.
• Work across modern and legacy stacks including Windows Server and Hyper‑V environments.
