Job summary

UNICEF - United Nations Children’s Fund seeks a consultant to revise its Rights & Results Programming learning programme, updating content, examples and facilitation materials to align with the Strategic Plan 2026–2029, CPP Guidance and the Future Focus Initiative. The assignment spans three parts and will be delivered remotely over four months.

The consultant will work with OSE to validate revisions and finalize the learning package for rollout to UNICEF staff globally.

Qualifications

• Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Education, Adult Education and Learning, Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, Learning and Development, Educational Technology, Communication or Communications, International Development, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Human Rights, or another relevant field.
• 15+ years of proven, directly relevant professional experience in adult learning and capacity development, instructional design, curriculum development, and the design, development or revision of comprehensive professional learning programmes.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing effective learning experiences for adult professionals, applying adult-learning principles and evidence-informed methodologies to translate complex concepts into engaging, practical training.
• Experience developing structured, multi-module learning programmes including objectives, curricula, facilitator guides, materials, exercises and assessments for online and in-person delivery.
• Knowledge of UNICEF/UN country programme development and learning-programme revision is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Revise UNICEF’s Rights & Results Programming learning programme to align with the Strategic Plan 2026–2029, CPP Guidance and Future Focus Initiative (FFI).
• Update content, references, exercises and facilitation materials for online and face-to-face delivery.
• Collaborate with technical experts and UNICEF staff (OSE) to validate revisions and finalize materials.
