Job summary

TE Connectivity plc is seeking a remote Financial Analyst – Plant Ops to support a manufacturing site within the EMEA region. The role partners with plant leadership, providing financial analysis, forecasting, and operational decision support while ensuring accuracy in standard costing and inventory management.

Based in a remote setup with periodic travel, you’ll collaborate with plant controllers, operations, and finance shared services to drive performance and continuous improvement using

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in finance, controlling, FP&A, or plant operations finance; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, inventory, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close processes.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP FI/CO or other ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly close activities: journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Analyze plant performance: conversion cost, material usage variance, purchase price variance, scrap, productivity, inventory, and cost center spend.
• Prepare clear financial commentary and management summaries explaining key drivers, risks, opportunities, and actions.
• Partner remotely with Operations and plant leadership to support financial performance and operational improvement initiatives.
• Support annual budget, quarterly forecast, and monthly outlook processes for the site.
• Maintain and analyze standard costs, routings, master data, and cost build-ups in SAP; ensure data accuracy.
