Job summary

Haier Europe is seeking an FP&A Planning & Insights Lead to coordinate executive-level reporting and drive budgeting and forecasting across the business. You will partner with controlling teams, steer analytics, and shape strategic decisions at a multinational group level.

FP&A Planning & Insights Lead

Location: European HQ in Vimercate (MB).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preparation and presentation of executive-level reports and financial reviews, synthesizing data from various departments and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Drive the planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring consistency and integrity across scenarios and alignment with business goals.
• Act as a key finance partner to business controlling functions, leading ad‑hoc analysis and strategic assessments to support decision‑making.
• Champion continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives in FP&A processes, tools, and reporting.
• Mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative, high‑performance culture within the function.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in FP&A, controlling, or finance roles, preferably in a multinational industrial company or consulting firm.
• Proven track record in leading planning cycles and financial reporting processes.
• Solid understanding of financial modeling, business analytics, and performance management.

Technical Skills

• Advanced in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Power BI, VBA‑programming, or other BI tools.
• Familiarity with Oracle EPM suite (SmartView, Essbase) strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Access and ThinkCell is a plus.

Soft Skills

• Teamwork oriented, strong leadership and communication skills, ability to influence across functions and senior stakeholders.
• Strategic mindset combined with a hands‑on approach and attention to detail.
• High level of analytical thinking and problem‑solving ability.

Employment Type

Permanent contract; full‑time.

Compensation

Minimum gross annual salary: €60,000.

The position includes access to an individual or collective variable incentive scheme based on the achievement of predefined performance objectives (KPIs); alternatively, any additional variable compensation components or benefits will be governed by applicable company policies.
