IMI plc in Italy, remote-based, is seeking a junior sales-focused role within the Industrial Automation team. You will learn from experienced Area Managers, building strong technical and commercial knowledge of IMI solutions and progressively taking over ownership of assigned customers and opportunities.

You will develop into a trusted commercial contact for customers and contribute internally, with travel about 4 days per week and some overnight stays.

Qualifications

• First sales experience and customer-facing exposure.
• Active listening and empathy are essential.
• Technical curiosity and ability to learn quickly.
• Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, electromechanics or control systems is a plus.
• Fluent Italian and very good English required.

Responsabilités

• Join customer visits with Area Managers to support management and development of assigned accounts.
• Build technical and commercial knowledge of IMI Industrial Automation solutions and value propositions.
• Understand customer processes and needs through active listening and discovery.
• Progress ownership of customer relationships and opportunities in the assigned area.
• Maintain accurate Salesforce CRM data for accounts and opportunities.
• Support forecasting activities with Area Managers to ensure reliable forecasts.
• Prepare account plans and visit reports with clear actions and owners.
• Collaborate with Application Engineering, Customer Experience and Operations to develop solutions.
