Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks an IT Operations & Cybersecurity Specialist based in Italy. This remote, hands-on role focuses on reliable IT operations and strengthening cybersecurity across multiple clients in a distributed team.

You will manage day-to-day IT administration, support users, and maintain secure environments using Microsoft 365/Google Workspace, MDM tools, and automation. The role offers autonomy, continuous learning, and opportunities to advance in

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience in IT operations, helpdesk support, systems administration, or a comparable technical role.
• Practical experience administering Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, including user and group management and security policies.
• Familiarity with MDM solutions such as Microsoft Intune or Jamf.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) to automate tasks.
• Strong written and spoken English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• IT Administration: Provision and manage user accounts, permissions, and licenses across Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
• Endpoint Management: Onboard Windows/macOS laptops into MDM, manage device configurations.
• Technical Support: Handle first-line support and escalations for complex issues.
• IT Maintenance and Monitoring: Weekly checks of patch status, backups, and security alerts.
• Documentation and Process Improvement: Write runbooks and SOPs for consistency and efficiency.
• Cybersecurity Projects: Spend ~20% on CVE research, hardening scripts, incident-playbooks, ISO 27001 checklists.
• Continuous Improvement: Streamline IT workflows and security practices across distributed clients.
