Job summary

Bending Spoons is seeking a talented and collaborative legal professional to shape and manage our intellectual property strategy as we grow. You will work across IP, open source, liability and commercial matters, guiding decisions with strong judgment and practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to structure ideas from first principles.

• Experience in law practice or in-house counsel environment.

Responsibilities

• Shape our intellectual property strategy and implement scalable processes.
• Manage our portfolio: harvest inventions, trade secrets, copyrights, trademarks and designs; drive jurisdictional decisions.
• Run IP disputes and enforcement; coordinate with outside counsel and uphold high standards.
• Draft and negotiate technology and IP agreements; assess terms and risk.
• Provide practical legal advice across product, commercial transactions and acquisitions on IP, open source, liability, advertising and consumer law.
• Build scalable legal tools and AI-powered workflows for high-growth operations.
• Monitor regulatory developments and identify value opportunities for the business.
