Job summary

Fuller Technologies Italy seeks a Technical Support Specialist to provide remote technical assistance to customers and field service technicians, troubleshoot electrical, automation, PLC and drive-related issues, and support commissioning and maintenance.

You will work with PLC languages and ABB/CT drives, read electrical diagrams and documentation, and prepare technical records. Occasional travel (~30%) is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial automation and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of PLC programming languages and diagnostics.
• Experience with ABB and CT drives/inverters.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical documentation.
• Strong English skills for international customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support to customers and field service technicians.
• Troubleshoot electrical, automation, PLC, and drive-related issues.
• Analyze machine alarms, PLC logic, parameters, and operating conditions to identify root causes.
• Support technicians during commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
• Provide guidance for corrective actions and technical problem resolution.
• Work with PLC programming languages for diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and support industrial drives, particularly ABB and Control Techniques (CT).
• Maintain clear technical documentation and service-related information.
• Use the Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, for daily activities, reporting, and technical documentation.
• Cooperate with engineering, service, and other technical departments when escalation is required.
• Be available for short business trips when on-site technical assistance is necessary.
