Job summary

Behavox is hiring a Front Office Subject Matter Expert to own asset classes, ensure BFDM and URT reflect trading desk reality, and advise product, engineering and data science teams. The role involves defining data specifications, turning abuse typologies into risk scenarios, and supporting the revenue team in client meetings and RFPs.

The role is AI-native and remote-friendly within Italy, with collaboration across global teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a front office role, market surveillance, or front office data at a market venue or vendor.
• English required; other languages a strong plus.
• Hands-on experience with agentic workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Asset class data specification – defines BFDM fields, schemas and validation rules for owned asset classes.
• Surveillance scenario design – turns market abuse typologies into Polaris risk scenarios and validates outputs with engineering and data science.
• Risk taxonomy maintenance – maps owned asset classes to URT risk situations and regulatory requirements, keeping coverage current.
• Client engagement support – answers front office, data and surveillance questions in meetings, demos and RFPs with the revenue team.
• AI-native, agentic workflows – writes specifications for agent-based pipelines and contributes changes via Git-based workflows in GitLab.
