Leica Microsystems, part of Danaher, is hiring an Advanced Workflow Specialist for Electron Microscopy Sample Preparation. The role is remote with 40–50% travel across the EMEA region, ideally based in the Milan area to serve regional customers.

You will bridge customers with Sales, Business Development, Product Management and R&D to drive adoption and growth. Required MSc/PhD in Life Sciences or Materials Science and hands-on EM sample prep experience.

Competenze

• Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Life Sciences, Materials Science, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with electron microscopy sample preparation techniques (cryo-EM, CLEM, ultramicrotomy, coating, freeze-fracture).
• Experience with light microscopy workflows is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel up to 40–50% across the EMEA region.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages (German) are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work in lab and customer environments; travel as needed.

Mansioni

• Deliver pre-sales and post-sales application support, including on-site and virtual demonstrations, trainings, and workflow optimization.
• Plan, execute, and support customer workshops, seminars, and advanced application sessions focused on electron microscopy sample preparation workflows.
• Support marketing initiatives through scientific content contributions for webinars, conferences, workshops, and promotional materials.
• Develop and contribute to application data, success stories, and reference workflows that support the commercial organization.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of customer activities, demos, and trainings in CRM systems (e.g., SFDC).
