An Italian technology company in Turin is seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer with 1-2 years of experience. The role involves automating infrastructure and deployment pipelines across cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, and GCP. Candidates should have strong skills in Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipeline development, with proficiency in English and Italian. This position offers a hybrid work model after a six-month onboarding period and opportunities for professional growth and exciting projects.

• 1-2 years of practical experience in a DevOps, SRE, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.

Overview

Open Position - Location: Turin, Italy (Hybrid during six months of onboarding, then Smart Working)

The Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic DevOps Engineer with 1-2 years of practical experience to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in automating infrastructure and deployment pipelines, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and reliability across cloud environments.

Location: Turin, Italy ( Hybrid during six months of onboarding, then Smart Working)

Responsibilities

• Automation Focus: Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline software development, testing, and deployment processes.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and manage infrastructure using Terraform across various cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Cloud Platform Management: Support and maintain cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS, and GCP, ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
• Container Orchestration: Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• GitOps Implementation: Utilize ArgoCD for declarative, Git-centric continuous delivery to Kubernetes clusters.
• CI/CD Pipeline Development: Build, maintain, and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps to enable rapid and reliable software delivery.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to identify and implement DevOps best practices.
• Monitoring & Logging: Assist in setting up and maintaining monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of our applications and infrastructure.
• Troubleshooting: Participate in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure and deployment-related issues.
• Documentation: Create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, processes, and tools.

Required Skills and Experience

• 1-2 years of practical experience in a DevOps, SRE, or similar role.
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• Practical experience with at least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or GCP); familiarity with multiple is a strong plus.
• Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Familiarity with ArgoCD or other GitOps tools.
• Experience in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) and Italian (written and spoken) is essential.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of networking concepts and management of Linux systems.
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
