SDG Group is seeking aJunior AI Engineer to join our AI & Data Science team in Milan. From day one, you will be fully integrated into an international delivery unit, working with multicultural teams on high-impact projects across Fashion & Luxury, Utilities, Banking, Insurance, and Healthcare.

This role offers growth in a dynamic, international environment with exposure to Generative AI and advanced analytics. Hybrid work model (40% remote) and permanent contract available.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in STEM fields (CS/Engineering/Math/Data Science).
• Recent graduates welcome; strong data/ML fundamentals preferred.
• Proficiency in Python, R, and ML libraries; Git and SQL/NoSQL basics.
• Fluency in Italian (C1) and English; interview will assess language.
• Cloud platforms and modern ML tooling familiarity.

Mansioni

• Own end-to-end AI development lifecycle from data prep to production.
• Build and compare ML models, incl. Generative AI and transformers.
• Industrialize models with cloud deployment and AIOps practices.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to deploy in live systems.
• Translate data insights into actionable business recommendations.
