Job summary

Jobgether SRL, on behalf of a partner, is seeking a Founding Senior Software Engineer based in Italy. You will shape the technical architecture, own end-to-end feature development, and drive AI integrations into production workflows within a fast-growing startup.

You will build scalable APIs and backend services using Python, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL, operate in cloud environments (AWS/GCP), with Docker/Kubernetes and modern CI/CD pipelines, and help establish robust engineering foundations

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building, deploying, and scaling production-grade software systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop core software systems, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Own feature development end-to-end from design to deployment and monitoring.
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities into production workflows (LLMs, RAG, embeddings).
• Build scalable APIs and backend services powering the product.
• Design data processing and real-time pipelines for large-scale information.
