WeRoad S.r.l. is seeking an AI Engineer to join the Science Team, building and maintaining LLM-powered features and AI tools used by thousands of travelers across multiple European markets. You will ship production-grade AI solutions, design workflows, and collaborate with product, care, marketing and data teams.

The role supports full remote or hybrid work (Milan) and offers a salary up to €55,000 per year, with a priority on practical impact over seniority.

Formación

• Experience building AI features in a product environment.
• Ability to reason about latency, cost, and scalability of AI systems.
• Fluent in English with ability to explain technical choices to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Build, ship and maintain LLM-powered features in production.
• Design and iterate on LangGraph workflows and tool-calling logic.
• Set up evaluations: test sets, track quality, latency and cost.
• Integrate AI services with product and data stack (APIs, BigQuery, GCP).
• Optimize token usage and model routing for production workloads.
• Collaborate with Product, Customer Care, Marketing and Data teams.
• Own end-to-end problems from understanding needs to shipping solutions.
