Lever, Inc. is seeking an AI Technician based in Italy for a remote role that shapes AI-driven processes across finance, accounting, workforce management, and operations.

You will research, implement, and optimize AI, automation, and data-driven technologies to drive measurable business improvements. You will connect platforms like Zapier, Make, and BI tools, build AI dashboards, and partner with cross-functional teams to embed AI into daily workflows while ensuring security and governance.

Competenze

• Proven experience with AI/ML, automation, data processing, or systems integration.
• Strong understanding of AI models, automation workflows, APIs, data flows, and business systems.
• Experience implementing or integrating business applications across finance, accounting, operations.
• Familiarity with Zapier, Make, Power BI, Looker Studio, or similar BI platforms.
• Experience with accounting, POS, forecasting, reconciliation, or bookkeeping systems is valuable.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on accuracy and scalability.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize AI/automation systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working remotely with cross-functional teams.
• Proactive, curious, innovation-oriented mindset about AI/automation landscape.

Mansioni

• Research, assess, and recommend emerging AI technologies and automation solutions that can create measurable business value.
• Deploy and optimize AI models, automation tools, and integrated workflows across different business functions.
• Integrate and optimize platforms for invoice automation, receipt management, cash-flow forecasting, labor optimization, bookkeeping, and financial reconciliation.
• Connect POS and accounting systems using integration and automation platforms such as Zapier, Make, or Omnivore.
• Develop and maintain internal AI-powered dashboards using tools such as Power BI or Looker Studio to provide insights into financial, labor, and operational performance.
• Streamline financial data flows, including bank transaction imports and accounting processes.
• Implement and evaluate reconciliation and intelligent bookkeeping solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitor AI systems and automated workflows, troubleshooting issues and optimizing performance, accuracy, reliability, and scalability.
• Partner with teams across finance, operations, customer support, marketing, and other functions to embed AI into day-to-day processes.
• Ensure AI implementations align with relevant industry standards, ethical principles, security considerations, and organizational objectives.
• Provide technical support, user training, and clear documentation for AI-powered applications and workflows.
• Track developments in AI, automation, and data technologies and identify opportunities for ongoing innovation and improvement.
