Allianz Technology is seeking a Release Manager to plan and coordinate large-scale releases across multi-instance IT environments. You will bridge development, product, and operations, driving DevOps adoption and automated delivery while maintaining regulatory controls.

The role emphasizes collaboration, risk management, and delivering high-quality deployments in a complex enterprise setting. A hybrid work arrangement and global exposure are supported.

Competenze

• 3–5 years in release and/or change management within large enterprise IT.
• Experience in regulated industry (financial services/insurance).
• Hands-on IAM platform experience (One Identity or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of ITSM changes, releases, and CAB workflows.
• Understanding of SoD and operational controls.
• Comfort with complex multi-instance environments and legacy systems.

Overall Objectives of Job

• The role ensures that a high volume of changes and large releases are planned, approved, and delivered in a controlled, auditable, and disruption-free manner.
• Acts as a bridge between development teams, product owners, and operations, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
• Manages a complex and heterogeneous platform that spans multiple instances serving central, global, local, and regional needs.
• Oversees systems that include legacy components while driving the transition to DevOps and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Balances regulatory discipline with a focus on automation and modern delivery practices to enhance efficiency and performance.
• Lead and optimize end-to-end software release processes using AI-driven insights, automation, and risk management to ensure reliable, efficient, and high-quality product deployments.

Qualification & Experience:

• 3–5 years in release and/or change management within large, complex enterprise IT environments.
• Experience managing change in a highly regulated industry (financial services, insurance, banking, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with One Identity or a comparable enterprise IAM platform.
• Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM, particularly Change & Release modules and CAB workflows.
• Practical understanding of Segregation of Duties (SoD) and how to operationalize controls.
• Comfort operating in a complex, multi-instance environment with legacy systems, while supporting a move toward modern delivery.
• Strong customer-service mindset and the ability to balance operational reality with development ambition.
• Proven ability to coordinate across development, product, and operations functions in globally distributed teams.
