Allianz Technology cerca un Senior Subject Matter Expert per guidare la trasformazione da operazioni manuali a infrastruttura automatizzata e IA-augmented. Sarai responsabile della visione e della strategia tecnica per migrare dai classici approcci ClickOps a soluzioni codificate, scalabili e resilienti.

Il ruolo richiede esperienza consolidata in infrastrutture aziendali, IaC, scripting e piattaforme cloud.

Competenze

• Esperienza in gestione infrastrutture IT aziendali su scala enterprise.
• Progettazione e implementazione di soluzioni IaC con Terraform/Ansible/Pulumi.
• Competenza avanzata in Linux e scripting Bash.
• Conoscenza dei cloud AWS/Azure/GCP e CI/CD.
• Conoscenze su containerizzazione (Docker/Kubernetes) e automazione.

About the Job

Allianz Technology is transforming how we manage global cloud infrastructure – moving from manual, click-driven operations to a fully automated, scalable, and AI-supported operating model. As a Senior Subject Matter Expert, you will be the driving force behind this shift, defining the vision and leading the technical strategy that transitions our operations from “ClickOps” to a modern, code-driven, AI-augmented paradigm.

What you do

• Define and drive the strategic roadmap for transitioning cloud infrastructure management from manual operations to a fully automated, Infrastructure-as-Code operating model using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Pulumi.
• Design and implement scalable automation frameworks capable of managing thousands of globally distributed servers, network devices, and cloud resources across multi-cloud and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, on-premises).
• Evaluate, integrate, and operationalize AI and machine learning capabilities – including AIOps for predictive monitoring, intelligent incident resolution, and self-healing infrastructure.
• Lead the development of custom tooling and integrations using Python and shell scripting, while establishing engineering best practices such as CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure code, automated testing, and peer review.
• Collaborate with global infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure automation solutions meet enterprise-grade requirements, and mentor engineering teams to foster a culture of automation-first thinking.

What you bring

• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in enterprise IT infrastructure management, with a proven track record of designing and operating large-scale automation solutions managing thousands of devices distributed across multiple geographies and cloud regions.
• Expert-level proficiency in Linux systems (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS/Rocky) including kernel tuning, networking, storage management, and security hardening across large enterprise estates.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash and at least one modern programming language (Python strongly preferred), with experience writing production-grade, maintainable code and working with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or similar) at enterprise scale.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), CI/CD toolchains, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and practical experience applying AIOps principles or intelligent automation to infrastructure operations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across organizational boundaries, mentor global technical teams, and translate complex technical concepts for executive audiences. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
