Job summary

For our Bologna Station we are currently looking for a Field Sales Specialist. Develop and administer field sales plans and processes to achieve revenue growth, enhance customer retention and acquisition, and increase lead conversion in line with business strategy and policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• 3+ years of sales experience in freight forwarding.
• Minimum English level: B2.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient with Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• Customer orientation and problem solving.
• Autonomy and time management.
• Proactivity and energy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales objectives and revenue growth for the Bologna region.
• Secure new business and build on existing core business through repeat orders.
• Respond to inquiries, resolve problems, promote and sell products/services.
• Identify prospective customers and build relationships for future sales.
• Develop and deliver sales bids and product demonstrations.
• Coordinate with internal teams to enhance sales and retention.
• Follow up prospects and close business by linking needs to DHL solutions.
• Introduce products and promotions and deploy marketing campaigns as appropriate.
