Job summary

Sécheron Hasler Group in Pioltello, near Milan, Italy, seeks a Mechanical R&D Engineer to design and validate electrical and mechanical systems for rail, energy, and industrial applications. You will work on FE simulations, 3D CAD, and project-based solutions to ensure safety, reliability and innovation.

The role requires a Master’s in mechanical engineering, at least 5 years of industrial experience, proficiency in SolidWorks/CAD tools, and English fluency; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering; FE validation experience.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial experience.
• Strong 3D CAD proficiency (SolidWorks, CATIA, Inventor, Creo).
• Experience with FE/analysis tools and welded joints fatigue advantageous.
• English fluency; French beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design and construction of electrical system/products and project-based solutions.
• Perform finite element analyses to aid design and validation of new products.
• Provide technology innovations and high product reliability.
• Keep design database updated to trace and produce right apparatuses.
• Maintain high level of technology in mechanical & electrical products.
• Validate all mechanical & electrical design of the group.
