Job summary

Sécheron Hasler Italia is seeking a dynamic System Engineer to reinforce the Verona team. You will support the project team, write technical documentation, configure onboard electronic products, and run system tests on trains across Europe.

The role requires a degree in electrical engineering, 2–3 years in railway or automotive sectors, basic programming and electronics knowledge, and Italian language proficiency; English is a plus with some travel expected.

Qualifications

Requires a degree in electrical engineering and 2–3 years of professional experience (railway/automotive preferred).
Basic programming knowledge and familiarity with testing of systems.
Good knowledge of electronics and ability to configure onboard hardware/software.

Responsibilities

Requirements management for creating the System Specification.
Generate and manage technical project documentation and deliverables.
Create configurations for onboard electronics (Event recorders, Speedometer, Gateways).
Define and execute system tests per project requirements.
Ensure configuration control of hardware and software.
Serve as technical interface with customers and internal staff.
Support other engineers in the project team.
Assist customers with technical questions during projects.
Perform commissioning and customer training, mainly in Europe.
Define test equipment and tooling requirements and ensure availability.
