Sécheron Hasler Italia seeks an Engineer to join the Integration Verification & Testing Department as a Test Engineer. The selected candidate will collaborate with the IVT Manager and Product Integrity Manager to write test cases and conduct functional testing on electronic devices for railway applications.

Responsibilities include test strategy development, test specification definition, scripting automated tests, and coordinating test benches with available resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, electronics, telecommunications or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the industrial sector.
• Knowledge of LabVIEW or Python scripting and MS Visual Studio tools.
• Experience with electronic equipment testing and test automation is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Analyze system and software requirements.
• Develop test strategies for distributed systems, devices, and boards.
• Define test specifications and automate test execution where applicable.
• Create test documentation (plans, procedures, reports).
• Execute tests and report progress using management systems (e.g., Redmine, Bugzilla).
• Track test cases against requirements.
