Alstom in Italy is seeking a Software Verification Validation & Testing Engineer (VV&TE) to perform verification and validation on Train Control Management System and sub-systems on the project.

You will set up verification environments, deliver test procedures, and maintain configuration management; knowledge of TestStand, Matlab/Simulink, and railway standards is valuable. The role follows a hybrid work model combining remote work and on-site presence.

Competenze

• Experience in train validation.
• Knowledge of validation methods (boundary tests, equivalence class tests).
• Practical knowledge of validation tools (TestStand, model-based testing tools).
• Knowledge of training means (Testbench, simulators).
• Experience with model-based development tools like Matlab/Simulink.

Mansioni

• Delivery of verification & test tools for Validation Campaigns.
• Setting up verification & test environments with MIL subsystems.
• Delivery of TCMS verification & test procedures.
• Perform TCMS verification on test-benches and trains.
• Delivery of TCMS verification & test reports and coverage matrices.
• Configuration management of verification deliverables.
• Management of validation status of change requests (CR).
• Management of CR on functions and sub-systems.
