Hitachi Rail in Naples, Italy, seeks an enthusiastic Signalling V&V Engineer to drive complex verification and validation across railway signalling systems and subsystems. The role blends administration with strategic tasks in a fast-paced environment, based in Naples, Italy.

The successful candidate will define V&V specifications, collaborate with RAMS functions, suppliers, and project teams, and deliver robust V&V evidence and reports while ensuring compliance with safety standards and project

Competenze

• Master's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 2/3 years of experience in Railway Signalling Systems.
• Experience in Verification & Validation (V&V) activities and processes.
• Knowledge of RAMS principles and railway safety standards.
• Experience in testing and validation activities, including field tests.
• Experience in collaborating with suppliers and participating in technical reviews.
• Knowledge of technical documentation related to V&V activities.

Mansioni

• Deliver Signalling system and subsystem in compliance with requirements, schedule and budget.
• Define the Signalling system and subsystem V&V specifications and implement V&V activities per RAMS governance and company processes.
• Deliver V&V documents at system/subsystem level with RAMS, Engineering, O&M and external suppliers.
• Support V&V activities through projects, bidding and delivery phases: planning, design reviews with suppliers, field tests.
• Ensure subsystems suppliers provide V&V evidence.
• Deliver Signalling system and subsystem V&V report.
• Maintain independence in defining and implementing V&V activities per standards and SILs.
• Define testing environments/tools requirements for V&V activities.
