Hitachi Rail in Genoa or Naples, Italy, seeks an enthusiastic ERTMS Functional Design Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The role covers admin to strategic tasks and is based in Genoa or Naples, Italy.

You will deliver system and subsystem Signalling solutions, support V&V activities, and coordinate with RAMS, suppliers, and project teams to ensure quality, schedule, and budget compliance.

Competenze

• Engineering degree required.
• Up to 5 years RAMS/V&V experience.
• Willing to travel short distances.
• Experience with ERTMS testing and validation.
• Familiarity with EN50128 processes.

Mansioni

• Guarantee delivery of Signalling system and subsystem V&V activity.
• Define and implement V&V tests in line with RAMS governance.
• Collaborate with RAMS Manager, Engineering, and external suppliers.
• Provide technical support for Independent Safety Assessor interfaces.
• Deliver schedule and cost progress to RAMS Manager.

Formazione

Engineering Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering or Information Technology
