Hitachi Rail STS S.P.A. is seeking a Signalling V&V Engineer to join our Naples-based team. You will oversee verification and validation activities for railway signalling systems, coordinating with suppliers and ensuring RAMS-aligned test plans and field testing success.

The role requires 2–3 years in railway signalling, a Master’s degree in engineering, and fluent English. The position offers hybrid work in Naples, with a competitive salary package in the 33k–38k EUR range.

Competenze

• Master's degree in engineering or equivalent technical background.
• 2–3 years of experience in railway signalling systems and subsystems.
• Experience in Verification & Validation activities and processes.
• Knowledge of RAMS principles and railway safety standards.
• Experience in testing and validation activities, including field tests.
• Ability to collaborate with suppliers and participate in technical reviews.
• Knowledge of V&V documentation related to signalling.

Mansioni

• Deliver signalling V&V documents at system and subsystem level in line with RAMS governance.
• Define V&V test specifications and implement validation activities per requirements.
• Support V&V planning, design reviews with suppliers, and field tests.
• Ensure V&V evidence from subsystems suppliers and report delivery.
• Maintain independent V&V activities in compliance with standards and SILs.
• Define testing environments/tools requirements for V&V activities.
