RINA is seeking an R&D Site Engineer and Equipment Engineer to join our Electronics and System Engineering Division in La Spezia. You will work directly at customer sites supporting design, documentation, project execution and fieldwork, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering (General or Electronics) and has hands-on experience with engineering documentation, interpreting drawings, and using engineering software.

R&D Site Engineer and Equipment Engineer to join our office in La Spezia within the Electronics and System Engineering Division.

Mission

The R&D Site Engineer will work directly at the customer site, supporting engineering activities related to design, technical documentation, project execution and fieldwork. The role contributes to the successful delivery of engineering projects, ensuring compliance with applicable technical, quality and safety standards.

Key Accountabilities

• Support engineering design activities and technical calculations in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards.
• Prepare and manage technical specifications, reports and project documentation.
• Review and interpret technical documents and engineering drawings.
• Use engineering and design software to support project activities.
• Provide engineering support during on-site activities, including field data collection.
• Collaborate with project teams and relevant stakeholders during the different phases of the project.
• Ensure compliance with applicable quality and safety procedures during site activities.

Education

Master's Degree in Engineering General or Electronics

Qualifications

• Previous experience in engineering activities, preferably within technical or R&D environments.
• Good understanding of technical documentation and engineering processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and drawings.
• Familiarity with engineering/design software.
• Availability to perform on-site and field activities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation Data

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range and job grade for this position are defined based on objective, role-related criteria and responsibilities in accordance with CCNL RINA (CNEL code I480).

The gross annual salary range foreseen is between € 30,000.00 and € 40,000.00 and will be finally defined on candidate’s professional experience, qualifications, competencies and overall alignment with the role. In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements.

The overall compensation package is complemented by the Company's welfare.
