Job summary

RINA is seeking an Embedded Software & Data Processing Engineer in Rome to design, develop and verify embedded software for A&D applications, contributing to data processing tasks within complex embedded systems.

The role requires strong C/C++, Linux proficiency, UART/SPI/I2C interfaces, Git experience and solid debugging skills. Nice-to-have MATLAB/Simulink and Qt/QML for embedded GUI; a Master’s in CS or related field and engineering background are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C/C++ with good knowledge of embedded systems.
• Experience with Linux development environments and common interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C).
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and debugging.
• Nice-to-have: MATLAB/Simulink and Qt/QML for GUI on embedded systems.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and coding standards.

RINA is currently recruiting for a Embedded Software & Data Processing Engineer to join its office in San Benedetto Del Tronto, Rome o La Spezia within the Operating EngineDivision.

Mission

Rina is looking for a Software Embedded Engineer in San Benedetto Del Tronto, Rome, La Spezia to partecipate and supervise software development activities. In particular, this position focusing on designing, developing and verifying embedded software for A&D field.

Qualifications

- Good knowledge of C/C++ programming.
- Basic understanding of embedded systems architecture and software development principles.
- Familiarity with Linux development environments.
- Knowledge of common embedded communication interfaces and protocols, such as: UART, SPI, I²C
- Experience using version control systems, preferably Git.
- Basic debugging and troubleshooting skills.Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink for algorithm development, simulation, and validation.
- Familiarity with Qt/QML for developing embedded graphical user interfaces and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI).
- Understanding of software development lifecycle processes and coding standards.

Compensation Data

The salary range and job grade for this position are defined based on objective, role-related criteria and responsibilities in accordance with CCNL RINA (CNEL code I480).

The gross annual salary range foreseen is between €31,000 and €40,000 and will be finally defined on candidate’s professional experience, qualifications, competencies and overall alignment with the role.In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements. The overall compensation package is complemented by the Company's welfare.
