EssilorLuxottica is seeking a Quality Laboratory Engineer to plan, execute and improve laboratory testing activities, collaborating with Quality, Engineering, Product Development and Prototyping teams.

The role emphasizes precise measurement, robust methods and clear technical reporting, with a focus on data analysis and digital tooling like Power BI and Python. A strong learning mindset and Italian/English communication are required.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or similar.
• 2–4 years in lab, quality, testing or related field; graduates welcome.
• Strong fundamentals; interpret test results and specs.
• Hands-on with samples and lab equipment; attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel; exposure to Power BI, Python, SQL, MATLAB is a plus.
• Good command of English and Italian; communicate findings clearly.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025.

Mansioni

• Plan, coordinate and execute mechanical, optical and functional testing.
• Manage validation requests and testing projects end-to-end.
• Analyze test results and support root-cause investigations.
• Prepare technical reports and management summaries.
• Contribute to method improvements and documentation.
• Maintain calibration and safe operation of lab equipment.
• Develop automation or dashboards using tools like Power BI or Python.
