EssilorLuxottica is seeking a Process Quality Engineer - Smart Eyewear to ensure quality readiness, reliability, and manufacturing excellence from NPI to mass production.

The role spans quality, engineering and manufacturing, solving complex challenges, improving processes and bringing innovative wearable tech to market within a cross‑functional environment.

Competenze

• Degree in Engineering or technical field (electronics/mechatronics) required.
• Knowledge of quality methodologies (Six Sigma, PFMEA) expected.
• Ability to read technical docs, BOMs and schematics.

Mansioni

• Support quality readiness of new products throughout NPI and industrialization phases.
• Monitor production performance, KPIs, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Investigate quality issues and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Contribute to risk assessment, PFMEA, process validation and Control Plan definition.

Envision Your Future Job

We are looking for a Process Quality Engineer - Smart Eyewear who will help ensure the quality readiness, reliability and manufacturing excellence of next‑generation products, from New Product Introduction (NPI) to mass production. Working at the intersection of Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing, this role contributes to solving complex challenges, improving processes and bringing innovative wearable technology to market.

Areas Of Resonsibilities

• Support the quality readiness of new products throughout the NPI and industrialization phases..
• Support the monitoring of production performance, process and quality KPIs, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Investigate quality issues and production abnormalities, driving root cause analysis and effective corrective actions.
• Contribute to risk assessment, PFMEA, process validation, Control Plan definition and quality gate reviews.
• Support the qualification and industrialization of new technologies, electronic components, modules and manufacturing processes.
• Analyze quality and production data, translating insights into clear recommendations and improvement actions.
• Support functional, validation and reliability testing activities for electronic products and smart modules.
• Help ensure a smooth transition from product development to large‑scale production.

Main Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or Diploma in a technical field, preferably Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of quality methodologies and problem‑solving tools.
• Understanding of manufacturing, industrialization and continuous improvement processes, with the ability to analyze data and support fact‑based decisions.
• Good understanding of electronic products and technologies
• Familiarity with functional, validation and reliability testing, electronic troubleshooting and failure analysis.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, product specifications, BOMs and basic electronic schematics.
• Strong analytical mindset, proactive attitude and effective communication skills in cross‑functional environments.
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken is mandatory
