Job summary

Jefferson Wells Italia is seeking a Permitting and Development PM for PV Plants to lead utility-scale projects through development and authorization phases in Italy. You will coordinate permitting, engage with authorities, and manage external consultants to move projects from early assessment to Ready-to-Build.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or related disciplines.
• Experience in permitting and development of renewable energy projects, preferably PV.
• Knowledge of Italian authorization processes and environmental regulations.
• Strong stakeholder management and project management skills.
• Availability to travel across Italy.

Responsibilities

• Manage permitting and authorization processes for utility-scale PV projects.
• Interface with public authorities, municipalities, grid operators, and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate external consultants and technical studies.
• Support land acquisition and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, risks, and development milestones.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of permitting documentation.
• Support the evaluation of new development opportunities and investments.
