Job summary

Lightsource bp is seeking a Business Development professional to drive pipeline growth for PV and BESS projects across Italy. You will manage cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Grid, Planning, and Finance teams to secure pipelines and move projects through regulatory approvals and financing stages, up to Ready To Build and Construction/Operation.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of current regulation framework in Italian PV and BESS Market.
• Experience with greenfield and co-development processes.
• Ability to reflect changes in assumptions into financial models.
• Proficient in English.
• GIS environment knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal support functions (Legal, Grid, Commercial Engineering, Power Markets, Planning, Structured Finance) and external advisors to evaluate opportunities and secure pipeline growth.
• Support and coordinate third-party developers to obtain permits and authorizations for ground-mounted PV and BESS installations.
• Assist in document integration and feedback to authorities during permitting processes.
• Update forecasting dashboards for permitting timelines, budgeting, cash flow, and financial impacts.
