Eaton’s Mobility Group seeks a Manufacturing Engineer & Prototype Manager for the Bosconero Valves Plant in Turin. You will lead manufacturing processes and the Prototype Shop, driving cost reduction, quality and on‑time delivery while ensuring safety and lean practices.

The role combines process improvement, P&L ownership and cross‑functional collaboration with Engineering, Sales and Quality to meet ambitious targets.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related environment.
• Experience leading and managing teams in manufacturing.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct manufacturing runs and process capability analyses to improve times, costs, cycle times and scrap.
• Design and implement production process improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
• Manage machine safety, MESH requirements and production reorganization projects.
• Drive cost reduction, problem solving, quality and error‑proofing initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, PFMEA, control plans.
• Coach and motivate shop‑floor employees to improve cost, productivity, quality and delivery.
• Manage Prototype Shop operations and P&L from order receipt through manufacturing and final shipment.
• Plan production schedules, priorities, workforce and resources to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost targets.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Sales on manufacturing feasibility and cost estimates; act as main customer interface.
• Coordinate plant functions, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure safety, quality and standards.
• Lead continuous improvement, capacity planning and investment decisions.
