Tenova S.p.A. is seeking a Proposal Engineer to join the Cold Rolling Downstream Team. This role involves coordinating the preparation of technical offers, validating plant layouts, and supporting risk analysis to ensure compliance with client specifications.

Applicants should have a degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Automation Engineering, 3-5 years of experience in proposal engineering, and familiarity with CRM and SAP. Fluent English is mandatory. Strong teamwork and proactive engagement skills are essential.

Competenze

• 3 – 5 years of experience in proposal engineering or similar roles within Plant Engineering or Heavy Machinery sector.
• Good knowledge of contract types and their main features, including international contracts.
• Strong teamwork, proactivity, and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

Mansioni

• Coordinate the technical development of proposals.
• Define and validate preliminary plant layouts.
• Support risk analysis activities and identify technical risks.
• Interface with Engineering for technical documentation.
• Ensure consistency between technical scope and cost estimates.
• Prepare and integrate technical documentation for offers.
• Monitor progress of proposal development.
• Evaluate suppliers’ quotations for technical alignment.
• Collaborate with managers for final validation of offers.
• Provide feedback to R&D on product improvements.
• Contribute to market monitoring in the cold rolling sector.
