Fuller Technologies in Italy is seeking a skilled Proposal Engineer to join the Proposal Department and help deliver technically and commercially competitive bids.

You will collaborate with sales, project execution, and engineering to prepare proposals, costings, and commercial letters, ensure accuracy, and support handover from sales to projects.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Engineering, or equivalent knowledge.
• Knowledge of plant architecture, technical and production processes, materials, and quality standards.
• Strong proposal management and project-sales integration skills.
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Mansioni

• Support Sales Managers and Project Managers in preparing technical proposals, standard conditions, and cost/sales calculations.
• Propose target selling prices and provide technical descriptions, commercial letters, and standard conditions as part of proposals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of proposals and related documentation.
• Facilitate smooth handover of orders from sales to project execution, ensuring internal ownership transitions efficiently.
• Follow sales from quotation to execution and interact with customers to support closing deals.

About the role:

We are seeking a skilled Proposal Engineer to join our Proposal Department and contribute to winning technically and commercially competitive projects. The Proposal Department is the technical and commercial backbone of the sales organization, connecting customers, sales, engineering, and project execution. The team delivers complete, competitive, and reliable proposals that form the foundation for successful projects.

Your Responsibilities:

• Support Sales Managers and Project Managers in preparing technical proposals, standard conditions, and cost/sales calculations.
• Propose target selling prices and provide technical descriptions, commercial letters, and standard conditions as part of proposals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of proposals and related documentation.
• Facilitate smooth handover of orders from the sales function to project execution, ensuring internal ownership transitions efficiently.
• Follow sales from quotation to execution and interact with customers when relevant to support closing deals.
• Report directly to the Proposal Department Manager in Italy.

You Bring:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical knowledge acquired through experience.
• Knowledge of plant architecture, technical and production processes, materials, and quality standards.
• Strong proposal management and project-sales integration skills.
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong technical expertise, writing, and reporting skills.
• Ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively across teams.

Nice to Haves:

• Previous experience in proposal preparation or project sales support within a technical or engineering environment.
• Familiarity with international projects and cross-functional collaboration.
