Job summary

Delta E Mechanica, part of the Boldrocchi Group, is seeking a Proposal Engineer to bridge technical and commercial aspects across projects from customer requirements to production and delivery.

You will support the Sales team in proposals, analyse bids, develop solutions, prepare estimates, interface with Engineering, Production and Quality, and assist during early project execution. Fluent English and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• Strong technical skills and an engineering mindset.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both within and outside the Company.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Availability for business trips.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• 2+ years of experience in Sales or Engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the Sales team in the preparation of technical and commercial proposals
• Analyse project and bid specifications to define the scope of supply
• Develop technical solutions in line with customer requirements
• Prepare cost estimates and pricing input
• Perform basic engineering activities, including sizing calculations and techno-economic optimizations
• Interface with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams during the proposal phase
• Support business development and customer relationship management during bidding, negotiation, and early project execution phases
• Support the Project Manager and the Project Engineer during the early stages of project execution

About the Role

The Proposal Engineer role offers strong opportunities for professional growth by addressing cross-functional topics on a daily basis, ranging from technical and commercial aspects to production and quality. This position allows you to develop a complete understanding of projects, from customer requirements to production and delivery, providing a true 360-degree view of the business.

What We Offer

• Gross Annual Salary (RAL): €35,000 - €45,000, depending on the candidate’s experience, technical skills, and professional background
