NIDEC CONVERSION in Genova is seeking a candidate to analyze customer requests and prepare detailed technical proposals for projects. Responsibilities include estimating costs, working with various teams, and participating in customer meetings.

The ideal applicant must have an Engineering University Degree or High School Degree, along with 3-5 years of experience in hardware or software design. Excellent communication skills in English are a must. The position offers hybrid work flexibility.

Competenze

• 3-5 years in HW or SW design.
• Experience in Proposal activities is preferred.
• Knowledge of site activities or site management is preferred but not essential.

SUMMARY OF ROLE

Primary Role of the job

• Analyze customer’s request for quotation and project’s specifications
• Prepare technical proposals and cost calculation for the solution
• Support the sales team during alignment and negotiation process

PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The job holder should:

• Receive customer’s RFQ from the sales department
• Perform site surveys, gather information at site and identify customer’s needs for specific projects
• Work closely with sales, marketing, project execution and technical teams to provide a complete and competitive technical solution
• Estimate the costs of materials, engineering and site activities for a given RFQ
• Provide breakdowns of material, equipment and other supplies the company will need to complete the project
• Keep contacts with suppliers and subcontractors in coordination with supply chain team
• Prepare detailed documentation to support a bid for a project
• Participate in customer meetings such as solution presentation, technical clarification, etc.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Education and Qualifications

• Engineering University Degree or High School Degree
• MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Autocad/3D (preferred)

Experience

• 3-5 years in HW or SW design

Salary Range: 45.000-50.000€
