Saipem cerca un Proposals Engineer a Milano per supportare lo sviluppo delle offerte nella linea Drilling & Sonsub. Lavorerai con diverse funzioni per preparare i pacchetti di proposta completi, rispettando le scadenze e contribuendo al costo e all’analisi dei rischi.

Il candidato ideale possiede un Master in Ingegneria, almeno 5 anni di esperienza in stime costi, pianificazione e controllo per progetti industriali, preferibilmente in tecnologie avanzate.

Competenze

• Master's degree in Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience as cost estimator, planner or cost controller for industrial projects.
• English level B2.
• Proficiency in Excel, Project and Primavera for costing/planning.
• Ability to manage projects and coordinate multiple tasks across disciplines.

Purpose of the position:

As Proposal Engineer, you will respond to the head of SONSUB COMMERCIAL AND TENDERING department and be part of the Drilling & Sonsub Business Line contributing to the development of Proposal activities. You will join a team of enthusiastic professionals and you’ll support the preparation of proposals spanning over the entire portfolio of Sonsub products, liaising as required with all competent disciplines/Company functions.

How can you support us?

Here below your responsibilities:

• Analyze the Tender Documents requirements and contribute to the Contract review.
• Be a critical asset for proposal preparation, participating to the Proposal kick-off and subsequent key proposal meetings while leading the specific proposal package assigned to your responsibility.
• Develop cost estimates and project cash flow analysis, engaging with all relevant disciplines and Company functions in order to prepare comprehensive Cost Closure Reports; participate and actively contribute to Risks Analysis according to Company rules.
• Ensure the timely delivery of the Proposal package assigned to you in view of the final delivery to Client, then participate as required to the post-bid clarification phase with the Client, and support the hand over process in case of Contract award.
• Grow in experience and competencies together with the team, to embrace step by step more challenging tasks.

What are we looking for?

Education:

Master's Degree in Engineering

Experience:

at least 5 years as Cost estimator, planner, cost controller for industrial projects, with preference for background and experience in high technological products including robotics and processing.

Languages:

English B2

Technical Skills:

Project and Risk Management/coordination and key project processes, costing and planning skills including ability to work with common software packages including Excel, Project, Primavera.

The successful candidate shall have the ability to:

• respect timelines and deliver outcomes.
• coordinate among multiple tasks simultaneously, estimating the effort needed to complete a task and working by priorities.
• work in small teams against tough deadlines, focusing on results.
