Job summary

METLEN Energy & Metals is seeking a Project Financial Controller in Milan to join the finance team. You will oversee financial management of key projects, act as the finance representative on project teams, monitor budgets, forecast cash flow, and provide variance analyses.

The role requires a university degree in Finance/Accounting, 5+ years of experience, strong IFRS knowledge, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance or Accounting; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in construction/EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS reporting and accounting for long-term projects.
• Proficiency in MS Office; SAP knowledge is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Act as the finance representative on project teams, collaborating with Project Managers.
• Monitor project budgets and financial performance, with variance analysis.
• Manage cash flow, forecasting, and vendor payments.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and progress updates.
• Support the Country Finance Manager with reporting and insights.
