X-ELIO in Rome is seeking a Project Engineer to lead the design of photovoltaic installations, from schematic to detailed documentation, across multiple projects in Italy.

The role involves overseeing PV layouts during greenfield, origination and RTB stages, ensuring feasibility and optimization, plus coordinating interconnection with utilities.

You will work with English and Italian, collaborating with clients, EPCs, suppliers and regulators, and travel for site assessments.

Competenze

• BEng in Electrical or Energy Engineering is required.
• A master's in Photovoltaic or Renewable Energy is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of PV power plant design experience.
• Familiarity with international solar PV standards.
• Proficient with PV design tools: PVSyst, AutoCAD, MS Office, including advanced Excel.
• Experience with ETAP, dmELECT, PLS-Cadd or similar electrical design software.
• Fluent in English and Italian.

What will you do?

• Optimal design of photovoltaic installations to schematic and detailed design documentation, including calculations, specifications, and drawings.

What do we need?

• BEng, with focus on Electrical or Energy engineering.


• A master's degree in Photovoltaic, Renewable Energy or similar would be considered a plus.


• Minimum 2 years of experience in the design of photovoltaic power plants.


• Familiar with international Standards for solar PV systems, and other relevant standards.


• Computer/Design Software literacy: PVSyst, AutoCAD, MS Office, including advanced MS Excel, AutoCAD.


• Electrical design software: ETAP, dmELECT, PLS-Cadd or similar, desired.


• Advanced level of English and Italian.
