X-ELIO, a Brookfield-owned global renewables leader, is seeking a Project Delivery Manager based in Rome or Sicily to oversee end-to-end solar and BESS projects from late development through construction and handover to Asset Management.

You will coordinate project teams, manage budgets and schedules, ensure permits and contracts compliance, and liaise with stakeholders. Fluency in English and Italian, and 5+ years in renewable project management are required; PMP is advantageous.

Competenze

• Engineering degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil.
• Min 5 years in a project management role in renewables.
• Experience in PV, BESS, grid integration and EPC.
• Projects involving large utility-scale plants (>50MW).
• Experience with co-developers, EPCs and international teams.
• English and Italian proficiency; PMP is advantageous.

Are you ready to join a leading global renewable energy company that is making a positive impact on the world? We are X-ELIO, a Brookfield-owned company and a global leader in the renewable energy sector; with over 3 GW of renewable projects (solar/BESS) built, we currently operate in 12 countries and have a development pipeline of 12 GW of solar and 14 GW of BESS capacity, and we are looking for you! Reporting to: Business Development Director. Based in: Rome or Sicily, Italy. The Project Delivery Manager will be focused on the management of solar and batteries projects, from late-stage development, through construction and commissioning, until handed over to Asset Management.

What will you do?

• Management end to end execution of the project (in office and onsite), from taking responsibility for the project from the Business Development unit and early works phase to the handover to the O&M unit, ensuring the achievement of project goals in terms of safe design, construction and commissioning of the plant, within the approved parameters of time, cost and quality.
• Coordination of project phases and activities, applying project management best practices, in compliance with safety, environment and quality standards.
• Coordinate and coach Project Team members to ensure achievement of projects goals.
• Prepare budget and time schedule of the project and ensure the project is built in accordance with the same.
• Construction reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure all projects comply with the requirements of the applicable permits and contracts.
• Managing project handover from construction to operations ensuring early involvement
• Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by stakeholders.
• Collect and share lessons learned from project execution.

What do we need?

• Relevant qualifications in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a project management role within the Renewable Energy sector, within engineering and construction departments
• Proven experience in project development, design review, CAPEX analysis, and construction-phase engineering management.
• Strong knowledge of PV and BESS technologies, grid integration, and EPC project execution.
• Experience of managing construction of utility scale Renewable Energy projects, i.e., larger than 50MW.
• Experience working with co-developers, EPC contractors, and international project teams.
• Good understanding of budgets and design to cost solutions (capex and opex evaluation)
• Proficiency in English and Italian.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point).
• Ability to travel domestically, ensuring presence at the construction site when needed.
• Comprehensive understanding of Grid Connection processes
• PMP certification is considered advantageous.
