Hantech Medical Italy S.p.A. is seeking a Project Engineer to coordinate customer projects from initiation through implementation and completion.

The role connects customers with our Italian manufacturing site, aligning requirements, timelines and technical activities while coordinating internal teams. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience in project management, engineering or manufacturing and is eager to build a career in project management within the medical device industry.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manufacturing, Materials Science or related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant professional experience in project management, engineering, technical or manufacturing roles.
• Experience in project coordination or cross-functional collaboration is preferred.

About Hantech Medical Italy

Hantech Medical Italy S.p.A. is a medical device manufacturing company based in Italy, specializing in single-use medical devices and components, with expertise in plastic injection molding, assembly and polymer-based manufacturing.

Our projects mainly involve single-use medical consumables, including products and components for IV administration, infusion therapy, drug delivery, puncture/access applications and other medical device applications.

As part of an international organization, Hantech Medical Italy works closely with global customers and technical teams in both Italy and China.

About the Role

We are looking for a Project Engineer to support and coordinate customer projects from project initiation through implementation and completion.

The Project Engineer will act as a key link between customers and our Italian manufacturing site, coordinating project requirements, timelines, technical activities and internal teams.

This role is particularly suitable for someone with at least 1 year of experience in Project Management, Engineering, Technical or Manufacturing roles who is interested in developing a career in project management within the medical device industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer projects from project initiation to completion.
• Act as a key contact between customers and internal teams.
• Coordinate project requirements, timelines, technical updates and customer feedback.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, R&D and other internal functions.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues and follow up on actions.
• Participate in customer meetings and support project management activities.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports and project status updates.
• Support new product introduction and industrialization projects.
• Coordinate with China-based technical and project teams when required.
• Occasionally travel to visit customers or attend trade shows and industry events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manufacturing, Materials Science or a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant professional experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Project Management
• Engineering
• Technical / Manufacturing
• Production
• R&D
• Medical Devices or related industries
• Experience in project coordination or cross-functional collaboration is preferred.
• Previous experience in the medical device, biomedical, pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry is a strong plus.
• Strong organizational, communication and coordination skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple activities and deadlines.
• Strong interest in developing a career in project management.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Language Requirements

Fluency in two of the following three languages is required:

• Chinese + English
• Chinese + Italian
• Italian + English

It is not necessary to speak all three languages.

Professional English is required for candidates whose language combination includes English, as the role involves communication with international customers and teams.
